While travel trailers come with everything you need to comfortably camp, travel, and vacation wherever you want, investing in a few helpful accessories for your rig may just make your next trip the best one yet. For a list of helpful tools, customizations, and products for travel trailer owners, check out our article below.

Sway Bars

Sway bars are an important safety accessory that all travel trailer owners should have. These helpful bars attach to your hitch and ensure your travel trailer doesn’t sway from side to side as you drive. This can greatly reduce the likelihood of an accident and only takes a few minutes to install on your hitch.

Lithium Batteries

A majority of travel trailer owners agree that swapping a model’s factory batteries with an upgraded set of lithium batteries is an enormous improvement. Not only will they last longer and require less maintenance than your travel trailer’s standard batteries, but they’re able to handle much heavier loads and are lighter in weight.

Emergency Kit

To ensure you’re safe in case of an emergency, we strongly recommend packing a small emergency kit to have on your travel trailer at all times. This should include basics such as a first-aid kit, emergency blankets, and nonperishable food and water, as well as less common gear—such as jumper cables, an empty gas canister, and a few tools to help temporarily repair your car or trailer in case of breakdown.
